A video has captured moment some Palmpay agents stormed inside market to beat and embarrass a debtor.
Palmpay is an online finance app, which is fully licensed by Central Bank of Nigeria. The digital bank also issue loans to people.
Palmpay became internet sensation after social media users shared different contents about the Fintech sending out their agent to chase people that had refused to return money they borrowed.
In the video surfacing online, the hefty men, dressed in purple Palmpay shirts, dragging a man, who appeared to be a debtor, around the market as if he had stolen an item.
They held the young man with his trouser and also applied forces on him. Dragging him away in the market generated attractions as people watched the scene.
Social media users expressed their displeasures, claiming that the agents’ way of getting their money was brutal. They took to comment section to share their thoughts.
