Nigerian singer, Davido is brewing up the Lagos offering of his Timeless album tour that kicked off in New York.
The singer who has performed on two big stages in the United States and London is set to storm Lagos at the Tafawa Balewa Square on Sunday, April 23, 2023.
The TBS is a grand square where the Yearly Experience event holds. With a sitting capacity of 5,000 and 50,000 in total, Davido is set to dazzle his home fans on Sunday.

While interacting with the press, Davido reassured fans that he has visited the Lagos State Commissioner of Police who promised to beef up the venue with extra security. The concert is set to attract all levels of Davido fans as there is a ticket which goes for N20,000 while the highest sells for millions. Davido also spoke about his upcoming deluxe album and what fans should expect.
Davido said the deluxe was scheduled for release later this year and fans can look forward to more great songs. He also stated that he intends to continue performing at the highest level while using his music to position Africa at the top.
During the press conference, the singer addressed the subject of the album not laced with so much emotion following his recent experience and the fact that one had expected more personal content that shares his mood at the time. The megastar stated that he doesn’t like to involve his personal affairs with his music as he prefers to keep his music simple and fun.
“There’s emotion but not too much emotion in the album. If you listen to Davido’s music over the years, I have always been a happy person whether I was going through something or not,” he said. The multi-award-winning hit-maker further stated that there’s time for everything and if it’s time to explore more personal time, he will do that.
“That side of my life, if I want to talk about it, there’s time for that but on this album that’s not what I was going for.”
