In a recent statement, popular Nigerian singer, David Adeleke better known as Davido while speaking about Afrobeats movement so far disclosed that he is very proud of his younger colleague, Rema.
Davido during his interview on K!ss FM UK with radio personality, Tinea Taylor utters that Rema success in Afrobeats seems like a miracle to him.
The “Unavailable” crooner during the interview said that he met Rema recently in the New York, USA and he told him that he is proud of his achievement so far.
Davido however narrates how Rema who used to be a kid in Benin came with his record label boss, D’Prince to his house years back.
He said; “I remeber when he (Rema) came with D’Prince back then chilling and quite in my living room, didn’t say a word…”
Speaking further, Davido said Rema who used to be quite upcoming artiste now has the highest Afrobeats charting song ever with his hit song, Rema as well as his collaboration with Selena Gomez.
Davido asserts that Music is an avenue for people to escape in order to achieve their dreams in life and that’s what the Government supposed to be doing noting that he is happy Nigeria as a country have many bare talents around.
The DMW boss concluded that Rema success makes him believe so much in miracle.
