Cape Town – South African influencer and DJ Cyan Boujee has hit back at fellow DJ Sithelo Shozi after she made comments about the way she lives.
Cyan uploaded a cleaning vlog to her TikTok page that was re-shared on Twitter.
Sithelo commented on the video and implied that Cyan was using the same dishcloth for her toilet and her dishes, leading to comments labelling her as “dirty”.
Sithelo said: “le ndwang isuke kuphi yayakuphi? (“This cloth went from being used in which space and where else?” )
Cyan caught on Sithelo’s comments and posted a second cleaning vlog, telling her where to get off.
She posted the screenshot of Sithelo’s tweet and addressed the comment.
“She actually saw two of my cloths looking alike and thought that it’s the same cloth that I use for y dishes and for my toilet, isn’t that crazy?,” she said before she continued cleaning.
Cyan said she couldn’t believe that someone in the same career field as her would want to bring her down.
“It’s so crazy how people will always bring you down when you try to do something. People that share the same career as you DJing and influencing,” she said.
The final nail in the coffin came when Cyan said that Sithelo shouldn’t be making comments about her house, when she doesn’t have one of her own.
“You don’t even have a house, you were too focused on the designers and you couldn’t even buy yourself a house or at least an apartment,” she said.
Many fans felt that Cyan was within her right to address Sithelo’s comments and admired how she was able to stay so calm while expressing herself.
