Nigerian singer and music executive, David Adeleke also known as Davido has congratulated his personal police security on his promotion.
The bodyguard simply known as Bawo, is also an officer in the Nigeria Police Force who recently got promoted to the rank of Inspector.
The Nigeria Police on Friday announced that the Police Service Commission had approved the promotion of over 90 force men to higher ranks.
Davido decided to upgrade Bawo’s status at home by giving the security personnel a new badge and congratulating him.
A video which surfaced on the internet shows the moment OBO was doing the honours of placing a new badge on Bawo’s bullet proof vest.
“Congratulations on your promotion to Inspector of the Nigeria Police Force,” Davido said while pinning it on his vest.
On his part, Bawo took to his IG page and wrote; “Thank you my Good Boss @davido for the decoration of my new rank. For the love you’ve always been showing me I can’t pay you but I pledge to be faithful, LOYAL and honest. May God keep protecting and blessing you for us, Amen”
