Nigerian actress Iyabo Ojo has taken to her social media account to explain one of Mohbad’s song lyrics, which has stirred controversy online.
Recalls that many netizens thought Mohbad was referring to how his mom left him for 10 years in one of his song he released few month before his death.
Explaining the lyrics, Iyabo Ojo revealed that it was “money” he referred to and not his mother.
While debunking the false narrative about Mohbad’s song “Sorry” from his previous album, the actress shared a post on her official Instagram page with a statement that read,
She wrote, Ten years i nor see money,ego ,kudi ,Owo that’s what he said . Not mommy please always check the lyrics of song well it’s important & even if it’s mommy he said abeg how does this help the case ?He loved both parents, which one come be una own . please stop sending me all this distraction please .
Tomorrow I will go live and address alot of this distractions.will post the time tomorrow .The police said two weeks , please let’s allow them to do their job if you have any important and reliable information,you can also contact the police with it .all eyes on this case justice will surely be served .
