The organizers of the popular reality show, BBNaija have started receiving backlashes from netizens following a new twist on the season 8 edition.
Today July 14th, 2023, Multichoice made it known to all and sundry that the BBNaija season 8 themed “All Stars” will begin on July 23rd, 2023.
By “All Stars” it means that the former housemates of the reality show will be featured in this forthcoming edition.
The housemates will be in the house for a duration of 71 days, climaxing on Nigeria’s independence day. Although the exact identities of the featured stars have not been revealed.
In a bid to raise the stakes, this season offers a whooping N120 million cash prize to the ultimate winner along with additional prizes.
Also, Moniepoint proudly takes the spotlight as this year’s headline sponsor adding to the excitement surrounding the show’s upcoming edition.
While BBNaija as a reality show is well known for its grass-to-grace story, many frowned and also criticized the organizers for giving fame to those that are already famous.
