Hilda Effiong Bassey, Professionally known as Hilda Baci is a Nigerian renowned chef, entrepreneur, actress, TV producer, and owner of My Food by Hilda.
She grabbed the attention of Nigerians when she announced her intention to break the current world record for longest time spent cooking (4 days), and followed through with it.
Personally, I remember just doing meal prep and cooking a 3-course meal for a food and nutrition practical (took about 3-4 hours) wiped me out completely. The idea of cooking for 96 hours straight? Mind blown!
The future record-breaker has managed to pull out over a 110 (might we add, reportedly delicious) meals, and served over 2795 people! We personally feel this should be a 3-in-1 record- Most delicious meals cooked in a row, Most amount of people served by 1 person at a stretch. It’s fine, we’ve decided, Hilda Baci is a 3-time record-breaking champion in our books.
